Overcooked 2 is a continuation of an unusual cooperative game from Ghost Town Games studio, published by Team17 in 2016

The second installment of the Overcooked series takes us back to the Onion Kingdom, which we previously saved from the impending doom. Now we have to face a new threat in the form of an army of undead bread called Unbread, which has appeared due to the unwise reading of the mystical book of the Necronomnomicon by the Onion King. The only salvation is to put on your chef’s apron again and prepare to confront the Bread Horde through a series of cooking challenges.

Overcooked 2 does not change the formula of the original, so again we find ourselves in diverse kitchens (seen from an isometric view) and try to prepare dishes for waiting customers. While playing, we must strictly stick to the recipes provided, delivering and preparing the required ingredients in a specific order. The game imposes a lot of pace, requiring quick and precise actions to deliver a well-prepared dish before our guests run out of patience.

To this scheme, the second Overcooked adds a handful of modifications to spice up the gameplay. Players can now throw the ingredients they hold to other cooks, or straight to the pot and pan (or the floor if they are on a whim). The kitchens are even more varied (magic school, balloon, or even another planet), with some changing over time, providing an even greater challenge. There were also new recipes, cooks and equipment, as well as an interactive world map.

Overcooked! 2: Night of the Hangry Horde sees players face the most terrifying threat to the Onion Kingdom yet, the unbread, and this time they’ve brought friends! This brand new DLC introduces an entirely fresh horde mode in which players must use all of their cooking know how to repel waves of ravenous undead ingredients. Night of the Hangry Horde is accessible for free for all players who have purchased the Overcooked! 2 Season Pass!
